Hi! I'm Allie! The face behind Ginger Cakes and Bakes. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, I've been baking since 2011 for what all started as a Senior Project at Pickerington North High School. I was inspired by another baker, my aunt Jo, who taught family recipes, piping techniques, and how to paint cookies.

Many recipes used are family recipes, others created over time, and always made from scratch. I love being able to share these products for you all to fall in love with and love creating a design customized to each recipient. I can't wait to create something special, meaningful, and unique to you!
